Ashton Town Council is one of nine Town Councils established in Tameside to provide a new way for the Council and Councillors to work with its communities and partners. 

Ashton Town Council will account for the following wards; Ashton Hurst, Ashton St. Michael’s, Ashton St. Peters, and Ashton Waterloo.
