Purpose of committee
Role
Strategic Commissioning Board was established by both Tameside and Glossop Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Tameside MBC, to become the primary place and meeting where the vast majority of health and social care commissioning decisions are made.
This follows the introduction of the Care Together programme and will help to deliver improvements in health and social care for the people of Tameside and Glossop.
Meetings for Strategic Commissioning Board take place approximately once a month.
