Review of Parking in Ashton Town Centre

Following the introduction of the Cashless Parking System in Ashton Town Centre, comments received on the matter and in accordance with the approval by Strategic Planning and Capital Monitoring Panel (9 October 2017) a review of the scheme has been undertaken and an emergency decision was made to suspend, temporarily, the scheme until a report could be submitted to this Panel.

This report looks at the options available to the Council in relation to traffic regulation orders in Ashton town centre and outlines how these proposals complement a wider review of car parking options across the Borough.
