The report outlines the importance of a strong
Green Travel Offer for the workforce with the opportunity to expand
the Council’s current Cycle to Work scheme via salary
sacrifice to eligible employees of the CCG, whilst increasing the
£1,000 purchase limit to enable the purchase of higher priced
bikes; or to support those looking to buy an electric bike. The
provision of a cycle to work scheme as part of the Green Travel
Offer supports the ‘living well’ corporate priority
whilst also enabling cost savings for both the employee and the
Council.
