This report provides an update to Executive
Cabinet following the Council’s decision in December 2019 to
enter into a Grant Funding Agreement (GFA) with Homes England to
secure £10m for the critical infrastructure required to open
up the site for residential development. This means the Council is
now contractually obliged to deliver the Godley Green Project
against agreed contract conditions and milestones. In addition, the
report will set out the current position in relation to project
delivery and the next immediate proposed stages.
