Energy Utilities Framework Purchase Agreement through STAR Procurement

To seek approval for Tameside Council to enter into contracts for gas and electricity with e-Energy as recommended by STAR Procurement for a minimum of 3 years plus a possible extension of an additional 1 or 2 years if required. This is in preparation for renewal of all energy supply agreements from April 2023. STAR requires cabinet approval as soon as possible to be able to go out to procurement and seeks a decision to delegate the authority to enter in to a contract to a senior officer.
