The government has provisionally allocated
£455,437k to Tameside, to fund a council tax reduction up to
£25 for residents in receipt of Council Tax Support. Any
remaining monies are to be used on a discretionary basis to support
economically vulnerable households with council tax bills under Sec
13A(1)(c) of the Local Government Act 1992.
